The friendly staff.
The poor connection in Wi Fi as well as telephone, the distance from the city centre as most of the activities need to be booked from there. Also we had a problem of communication with the staff regarding rearranging our rooms and we had to stay in 2 separate rooms as a family not even connected.
The peace and quiet of the cabin in the woods except the room next door were having a bit of a party as they were very loud well into the night. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent.
The room was cold when we first arrived (no heating was on in the room and it was raining very hard. Once it warmed up it was fine. The tv reception was not that good and not much choice of programs.
Staff was very accomodating -- placed us in an upgraded room. Room was clean and quiet. Falls were very close by and beautiful.
Restaurant was overpriced and food was passable. Vegetables were prepared in a bizarre way-- half were dried out and way overcooked and other half were raw. Pork was dry and tough. Waitress was lovely.
The surroundings and falls were really beautiful and the staff at the resort were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were bright clean and comfortable.
We would have liked a choice of fine dining or lighter regular food as when we came we had already eaten a large lunch and did not require a full restaurant meal and this was the only option available, this would not be suitable for anyone with children.
Comfortable litte house
Internet was not working, but I could use the connection at the office station.Prices were high. You had to eat there, because there was no other opportunity and they know that.
We would like to compliment the staff on being very friendly and professional. They were a delight and we appreciate their help. Everything went well and we were pleased with our stay. Thanks again to the girls at the desk.
I found the restaurant too pricey.
The fireplace in the bedroom makes it very romantic and useful since nights are cold! Good restaurant at the hotel ( good prices) and free internet point at the reception. Very kind and helpful staff.
The location was very good. The bed was comfortable.
The rooms are miniscule. Never have I seen such small rooms for that high price. The restaurant at Sunwapta Falls is very very expensive and not even worth the value for money. I would suggest anyone to eat at Jasper city and then come to stay at Sunwapta Resort
The room was clean.
We thought the room was quite pokey and small. We thought it would be located in an area more distant further from the main road... but it was pretty much on the road. There are no other amenities such as pool, hot tub, lounge... unless you count the extensive gift shop. (A gift shop is not a big plus in my books!) There is a fairly expensive restaurant on site. No comments on that as we gave it a miss. Overall, we would not recommend this place.
Close to Sunwapta and Athabasca falls, on the icefield parkway. Nice, confortable and quiet lodges. Helpfulness and kindness of all people met : restaurant, gifts shop, reception.
Good food at the restaurant...Quiet setting to relax...Good location for hiking trails between Sunwapta and Jasper
The Manager, Laura assisted with change of rooms...difficult to assess rooms on line --) thought the Hideaway room (best price) had a bed plus pull-out couch for two sisters.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was included for comfort inb the room. The staff even walked us to our room and asked if there was anything else they could help us with.
Beds did not seem like queen size, but only double.
The hospitality was perfect; the facilities - room, showers and the restaurant, the shopping market were clean and welcoming. It is located in the natural reserved, close to the falls and quit and comfortable by evening.
location not far from a water falls
Dinner at the hotel is no good, does not have so much to eat but cost CAD39.
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and made up daily. Great on-site restaurant (which is a bit pricey, but understandable as the lodge is in a fairly remote location)
Room had two double beds (other types of rooms were sold out), and the beds were not that comfortable.
